Absorb damage with a new status


Absorb

When Sir Camil raises his shield, he will absorb 1 HP worth of damage. You can see the big bright Absorb HP in his HUD. When he gets hit he'll lose the absorb first before taking damage. This is in addition to increasing his armor so he's less likely to get hit.

The mission report now shows how much damage you absorbed.

I also did a bunch of refactoring behind the scenes, which turned out to be more difficult than I thought it would be. But what else is new?

What's next?

I want to clean up the highlight overlay - it's hard to distinguish enemy squaddies from your own.

What's that on the horizon? A new ally? But also a new enemy?
