Animation Update for Critical Hits


Critical Hits even when you don't roll a 12

Against these enemies, rolling 6+6 was a critical hit, and Torrin and Sir Camil would react by charging in!

But 5+6 or 6+5 was also a critical hit. Now, the critical animation will play in those situations.

More "Out of Range" alerts

When you click out of range you'll see more "Out of Range" pop ups. So now it's clear the game recognized your attempt to move and will tell you why it failed.

Save File version matches build version

These used to be different version names, but now they both match.

What's next?

  • Update pathing so player squaddies don't walk through enemy squaddies (the logic does pay attention to this but the animation does not)
  • Disable actions that have no chance of working (no point to Raise Shield twice in a row or healing when everyone is at full HP)
  • More refactoring behind the scenes
